Changelog

What changed in Coworker Games, newest first. Written for the people who play it. The version and build number are in the footer and in the sound menu inside a room.

0.12.0 2026-10-11

On Call

  • A wrong word now shows up in the log on the right for everyone, struck through with the reason, and stays there, even when the turn ends in a page.
  • Log tickets count from #001.
  • The end of the game opens with "The shift at a glance": one poster for the whole room with words typed, the longest word, the fastest reply, the closest save, the letters you covered and how the fuse got shorter. Save it as an image or copy it for your team chat.

Rough Draft

  • Fast guesses no longer go missing from the chat. Guess too fast and you'll be asked to send it again.
  • 15 seconds to pick your word. If time runs out, the card picked for you is stamped so you know what you're drawing.
  • Your word stays on screen in big letters the whole time you draw.
  • The fill bucket no longer floods the whole board when you click a line, and filling again never spreads.

0.11.0 2026-10-11

The lobby

  • Every game has its banner back: its logo and what kind of game it is, two across, and still no scrolling.
  • Rough Draft gets its whiteboard logo in the lobby.
  • The game card is tidier: even spacing, nothing overlapping, and Start lines up with How to play.

"AI" Hallucinations

  • After each chain, a short vote for your favourite moment in it. While the report prints, it's just Ha, Nice and Oof reactions.
  • The ink meter stays out of the way until you're running low.
  • A fill bucket, an eyedropper, more colours (including skin tones) and five brush sizes.
  • Save any chain, or all of them in one zip, or copy them for your team chat.

On Call

  • A wrong word now pops up at the player's seat with the reason ("not a word", "already used"), so everyone sees the near misses.
  • The screen always names the right person who gets the pager next, even if someone drops out.
  • A Ready key on the intro: it ends as soon as everyone's ready.

0.10.2 2026-10-11

  • Rooms no longer show up empty for people with an ad blocker. The blocker was hiding the whole lobby, not only the ad.

0.10.1 2026-10-11

  • A tab left open across an update no longer goes blank: it picks up the new version by itself and rejoins your room.

0.10.0 soft launch, 2026-10-11

2026-10-11

The site

  • The page footer, and the sound menu inside a room, now show the version and build number in small print. Handy when you report a bug.
  • This changelog.

2026-10-10

Rough Draft

  • Draw a secret word while everyone else types guesses. Wrong guesses are public, and a close one is only for you.
  • A full palette of 26 colours, more drawing tools, and keyboard shortcuts for them.
  • The Deck: after the game, watch every drawing build up again as a timelapse.
  • Smoother hand-off from the drawing board to the reveal.
  • A short sting when the round starts, a keyboard that behaves on phones, and a tidier clock.
  • If the server restarts mid-game, the game picks up where it left off.

On Call

  • Word-bomb rules: lives, a full-stack keyboard, a pressure gauge that fills as the pager heats up, and Backseat for anyone who has clocked out.
  • Each of your lives is a coffee, and you can see them spill.
  • A turn arrow shows who is holding the pager, and the seats sit closer around the table.
  • Fairer shift starters, and points while you play, not only at the end.
  • A shift report at the end that you can keep.
  • A much bigger word list, and optional extra languages when you set up the room.
  • Plain explanations of how the refill works and what the round letters mean.

"AI" Hallucinations

  • Draw it, caption it, pass it on, then watch the prompt drift in the report.
  • Write-first chains for people who would rather not draw first, an optional manual reveal, and a wind-down at the end.
  • You can take back a drawing or caption you have already sent.
  • The final report prints out on printer paper, with plain-language keepsake text.
  • Speech bubbles no longer get cut off, and the spotlight and button outlines are cleaner.

Double Booked and Merge Conflict

  • Double Booked is now the default edition of the prompt game, with its calendar look in every phase. Merge Conflict is still there for engineering teams.
  • Verdicts reveal more smoothly, ties feel alive, and the final round has a look of its own.
  • A sharper unanimous-vote moment, and smoother changes between scenes.
  • Many more prompts, read and checked for the workplace, and a room no longer sees the same prompt twice.
  • Work Life and Everyday prompt packs, with less jargon, plus new business acronyms and The Last Word.
  • The author's banner now always shows.

All games

  • Start typing anywhere on the screen and it goes into the answer box.
  • Save a GIF of the best moments.
  • Longer intros, and a Ready button so slower players are not left behind.
  • Tighter wording throughout, with tone rules so jokes stay friendly on a call.
  • The lobby fits on one screen: a compact invite, denser seats, a settings strip and a game card that is always in view.

The site

  • The landing page lists all four games with posters, and the header is more compact on phones.
  • New pages for teams of every kind: how to host, remote teams, HR teams and engineering teams.
  • We count visits without cookies and without tracking anyone.
